Advertising is one of Canada’s most exciting, dynamic, fun and rewarding industries. But it’s an industry with a complexion that doesn’t look the way Canada looks; wildly and beautifully diverse.

So, Publicis Hawkeye created This Is The Job.

This Is The Job is an online platform and a tool to raise awareness of advertising as a career option for racialized young people. Our goal is to show them that their passions – whatever they are – can lead to engaging and fulfilling careers in an industry that otherwise might have remained invisible to them.

Creative to support the campaign lives on social media – where our target spends most of their time – and all drives to thisisthejob.org. Once there, kids 11-17 complete a quiz that connects their passions and interests with three or more corresponding jobs in advertising.

To support the platform, our TITJ team does in-school job fair days and online presentations, partnering with an ever-growing roster of public and separate school boards across Ontario.
